We met in 2017 as University of Cincinnati freshmen living in Daniels Hall, two strangers trying to figure out how to do laundry and make it to our 8 a.m. classes. We ended up in the same friend group and spent most of college bouncing between the AXP house, late-night food runs, and pretending we understood our majors. By junior year, Jakob made the questionable but convenient decision to move in with Anusha and her roommates. That's when things shifted from "good friends" to "wait… are we dating?"

Over the years, we powered through classes, internships, a pandemic, and way too many group projects. We both graduated in 2022 and moved across the river to Newport, Kentucky, because nothing says "fresh start" like crossing the Big Mac Bridge. In January 2025, Jakob proposed at the Krohn Conservatory, and Anusha said yes, even though he didn't write a speech. Now we're planning a wedding and excited to celebrate with the people who've been part of our story all along.
